Aap na Vaalid Saheb Syedna Zainuddin (r.a.) ye aap nu naam Yusuf rakhu hatu, Syedna Abdeali Saifuddin [r.a.] ye te badli ne Abdul Qadar rakhu. Aap na maa Saheba Mariyam Aaisaheba binte Mulla Noormohammed [Vafat 1226 H.] Bawa Mulla Khan ni nasal si chhe. Aap Ibne- Mariyam [Masihuz-zamaan] kehvata tha. Aap Aalim benazir tha. Aap ye Sironj ma Asharah kida. Thoru bayan Dawat ni zaban ma ane thoru urdu ma. Koi ne farq na lage , ye tarah bayan kidu. Hind na Doat ma aap pehla Dai chhe jeh ne Hajj nasib thai chhe. Relations of doat with contemporary rulers Al-Doat Al-Kiram rendered Tafady of their lives and fortune, endeavored in every way, employed every means, utilized every resource they possessed to fulfill the great tasks endowed upon them by their Imams. An important aspect of their ceaseless endeavor in this way is the maintenance of good and cordial relation with their contemporary rulers. Through this relation they sought well-being of Dawat and welfare of their followers. Doat Kiram are the vice-gerent of the Imams. Pl do send your feedback and your opinion.  mulla saifuddin surka, ahmedabad 47. SYEDNA ABDUL QADIR NAJMUDDIN (R. A) (1256-1302/1840-1885) Syedna Abdul Qadir Najmuddin (R. A) guided his followers, the Moomineen to the path of Haq during his long years. He faced the sedition that started during his period with endurance and courage. Syedna Najmuddin (R. A) improved the already existing good relation with the officials of British government. In 1866 AD, He was awarded the rank of First Class Sardar of Deccan by the government of Sir Bartle Frene. He was also granted the privileges of exemption from the arms act and from attendance in a civil court. These privileges remained attached to Doat Kiram after him. In 1266/1850, when His Highness Raja Gaikware visited Surat, he expressed his desire to meet with Syedna Najmuddin and came to meet him with his retinue. Syedna (R. A) presented valuable shawls to him and arranged a feast in his honor. Syedna Najmuddin (R. A) visited different cities and towns where Moomineen lived. Everywhere, he was received by government officials, native Nawabs and Rajas along with Moomineen. He is the first Dai who performed Haj after ascending onto the throne of Dawat as well as he is the first Dai who visited Sind in the period of Satar. During the period of Syedna Najmuddin (R. A) properity of Moomineen increased greatly because of increased facilities and expanding scope of business. Moomineen traveled to distant areas, settled in new business centers in India and other countries for the establishment of their business. This development in businesses and their expertness and honesty in business elevates their position as a known business community. Syedna Najmuddin (R. A) was very compassionate to the poor and needy, and very generous in their help. He asked his successor Syedna Husamuddin (R. A) to keep such compassion on Moomineen after him and said in his will: "I have given milk to whom asked for water". During the period of Syedna Abdul Qadir Najmuddin (R. A) , Muzaffer shah, he last Mughal emperor was deposed from his throne in 1274/1857. India which was under the control of East India company, came under the direct rule of the British kingdom. In 1841, British sovereignty was established over Hong Kong. In 1842, riots and strikes began in industrial areas of England over low wages. In 1845, Anglo-Sikh war began, British army defeated Sikh in 1848. In 1860, Abraham Lincoln elected 16th President of U. S. A. In 1876, sultan Abdul Hamid became the ruler of Turkey (-1909). In 1882, British occupied Cairo and French gained control over Tunis in 1883. During the period of Syedna Najmuddin, many developments occurred in intellectual field. To this period belonged Jamaluddin Afghani (1840-1904),and Mohammed Abdoh (1849-1905) who worked for Islamic Movement in Muslim world. Al-Baroudi (1840-1904), Ahmed Shoqi, the famous Arab  poets of modern period also belonged to this period. Famous Urdu poets Mir Taqi Mir, Mirza Galib, Daagh, Mir Anis and Mir Dabeez belonged to this period. In 1849, Charles Dickens published his famous novel 'David Copperfield'. In 1851, Isaac Singer devised the continuous stitch sewing machine. In 1859, Charles Darwin published his work 'On the Origin of Species by Natural Selection'. In 1867, Karl Marx wrote and published his work 'Das Kapital, V: 1. In 1869, Suez Canal was opened. In 1873, J. C. Maxwell wrote his work 'Electricity and Magnetism'. In 1876, Alexander Graham Bell developed first telephone in U. S. In !877, Edison devised phonogram. In 1878, A. A. Pope manufactured first bicycle in U. S. In 1880, T. *A Rare Pious Hand Painting Photograph of  The 47th Al Daai_ul_Muttalaq Syedna Abdul Qadir Najamuddin R Ibne  45th Al Daai_ul_Muttalaq Syedna Taiyeb Zainuddin RA here was a Hand Painting of  Syedna Abdul Qadir Najamuddin Saheb RA (Dated : 1302 H. / 1885 AD) that, for several years had hung on the of the walls of Najam Baug, Dongri, Mumbai-400009. When Syedi Abdeally Bhai Saheb Mohyuddin QR Ibne the 48th Daai_ul_Muttalaq Syedna Abdul Hussain Husamuddin RA visited Mumbai (Bombay), he requested the 51st Daai_ul_Muttalaq Syedna Taher Saifuddin RA  Ibne the 49th Daai_ul_Muttalaq Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin RA to accompany him to Najam Baug to see the Painiting. When the two of them were there - so the story goes - Syedi Abdeally Mohyddin Saheb QR walked close up to the Painting, remarked on how finely it was done and then said in an emotional tone : " If only you had seen Syedna Abdul Qadir Najamuddin Saheb RA !
